With May move-ins just around the corner, the construction site is buzzing with activity!
Slow closing cabinet doors and shiny spiral staircases are being installed, the pool is being dug out and lots of mud is being cleaned up. I love to watch it all come together and can’t wait for you to see it, too. In the meantime, take a look at a few progress photos!
We recently took a field trip to ASSEMBLAGE a company founded by husband and wife duo, Christian and Heidi Batteau. Christian and Heidi along with their dream team of talented artist, are creating high-end, handcrafted wallpaper for clients all around the world. ASSEMBLAGE is also handcrafting the wallpaper for Brick Avenue’s coworking space. A beautiful deep sea blue with a chevron style pattern will soon be installed on site. But first, we got to learn first hand how it all comes together. Priming, coating, stenciling, top coat, wax, buff, repeat!
Brick Avenue is working on LEED certification, and if you’re not exactly sure what that means, no worries, we talk about it here.
one reason we are able to build better is because of the guidance of sustainability consultant, Meredith Hendrix. She suggests best practices and helps verify that construction is following LEED guidelines.
