A few questions we get asked quite often:

  • Today (if we have immediate availability)! Let us help you pick a move-in date!

  • Nope, but we would love if you did to make sure you have our undivided attention. Feel free to schedule your visit by emailing live@brickavelofts.com or reaching out your Leasing Specialist directly.

  • You can breathe easy at Brick Avenue Lofts. Our neighborhood is smoke-free.

  • Taking out your trash and recycling here is as easy as it can be! Simply place the black bin for trash and a blue bin for recycling right outside of your door. We ask that all trash is tied in a trash bag and placed inside of the bin in case there is a spill. For recycling, please bag all different materials in their own clear bag (plastic, metal, glass, etc.) and place those bags inside of the blue bin. If you would like the Valet Living team to take your cardboard to the recycling bin, please make sure the box is completely broken down flat and placed behind the bins.

  • Yes! Our maintenance team can’t wait to meet you.

  • Easy peasy. One parking pass is included with your rent and additional passes can be purchased for $20 per month. If you’re wanting covered parking, we have that too!

  • On the East side of the property, there are digital package lockers accessible 24/7. All packages will be delivered to the lockers and any packages that do not fit will be sent back to the delivery center. We charge an annual fee of $35.00 for the package locker service, which means instant text messages the second your package has arrived.

  • Lease start dates are flexible for any day of the week. After you’ve signed your lease, you will work with our team to schedule a time that works for you to pick-up keys on or after your lease start date. We request the desired time is booked no less than 48 hours in advance to ensure everything is ready for you!

  • Yes! We offer referrals for residents and non-residents of Brick Avenue Lofts, Shoot an email  for more info.

  • Absolutely! We have three juice bars on the property in different locations with the ability to charge six vehicles at any given time.

  • Yes! And if we don’t have the photo you’re looking for on the website-we’ll go take a photo for you. We offer digital tours of Brick Avenue Lofts and can send over any needed information. Shoot us an email live@brickavelofts.com.

  • Application approval usually takes 24-48 hours for completion. This timeline is dependent on the following information being obtained: proof of income, rental verification, and payment of deposits and fees.

  • Once your lease has been signed and the confetti clears, you’ll receive an email with next steps from our team to schedule your move-in time and get everything else squared away prior to your move-in day.

  • Yes! If your pet is over 75 pounds, it must be pre-approved to be your roommate. We allow cats and dogs. However, no birds or fish tanks are permitted. We do have a few breed restrictions. Keep scrolling down for that info.

  • We love dogs, but sadly there are restrictions. The breeds listed below and any dog mixed with a breed listed below will not be permitted.

    Note: Dogs permitted over 80 lbs may be subject to first-floor units only.

  • We charge a few different fees per each pet in your home. The breakdown of amounts and types are listed below.

    Pet Fee: $250 one-time(non-refundable)

    Pet Deposit: $150 one-time (refundable)

    Pet Rent: $30 per month

  • Yep. We require a minimum of $100,000 in personal liability coverage and $10,000 in personal property coverage. Additionally, you are required to list Brick Avenue Lofts as an interested party on the policy. We make it a seamless process to add renters insurance through your resident portal. Need help? Just ask a team member.

  • We do not offer furnished homes, BUT we work with some great partners if you need temporary furnishings – just let us know and we’ll get you connected! 

  • To get you through the application process without breaking a sweat, please have the following information readily available:

    Drivers License Number

    90 Days of Bank Statements or Pay Stubs

    Previous/Current landlord information for a rental verification check.

  • Yes, the application fee is $45 per person over the age of 18.

  • We have a few monthly fees that are not included in your rent.

    Utility Package varies by floor plan and covers ALL of your bases (includes electric, water, trash, gas, sewer, valet trash, and internet!). Check our “Pricing” page for current rates! 

    Pet Rent-$30 per pet (only if you have a pet)

    Additional Occupant Fee-$40 per month

  • Our shortest lease term is 6 months and the longest permitted is 15 months.  All leases less than 12 months will be subject to a short-term lease fee.

  • Oh, youbetcha! We have storage units attached to our carports (making room for those in-law gifts you really don’t want and any weird troll collections you want to hide).

  • When leasing you will select your top unit preferences and our team will do it’s best to get you exactly what you want! Be sure to include any specific floor, view, or location preferences.

    Although requests are not guaranteed, we will communicate with you if anything comes up that would cause deviation from your top choice.

  • Your application status is readily available at any time via your Prospect Portal once you’ve completed the application. If you have specific questions, please reach out to your Leasing Specialist.

Brick Avenue Loft Resident Questions

  • You can view & RSVP to all upcoming events in the Resident Portal. We also have an events page on this very website for your perusing pleasure!

  • Maintenance requests are submitted online from your resident portal and will respond within 4 hours during regular business hours (no matter how big or small).

  • We love bright white paint and hope you do, too! Your home is already painted so, living at Brick Avenue Lofts your paintbrush will need to take a vacation.

  • You love when people come to visit (and so do we), We have street parking available on 3rd St & and labeled visitor parking near the Digital Package lockers.

  • Brick Avenue Lofts is 100% electronic on payments. You can pay rent anytime online using your resident portal. Payments can be made with a checking account and routing number or with most credit/debit cards (American Express is not accepted). Please note, there is a fee for paying rent, but you’re saving a tree. The fee will range from $1.95+ depending on your payment method and the amount being paid.

  • When your lease ends our team will walk your apartment assessing the move-out condition. Once completed, your deposit will be refunded less any damages/fees within 30 days post your lease end date. All deposits will be non-refundable if application or lease is canceled and/or not completed in full by resident.

  • We end all leases on the last day of the month. In the event you turn-in keys early, you will be charged for the full lease term and rent will not be prorated for mid-month move-out.

  • We’re sad to see you go, but these things happen! You have two options on how to terminate your lease.

    1. Find someone to take over your lease. This person will need to apply through our office and meet the rental criteria in order to be approved
    2. You can terminate your lease by providing a 60-day notice and paying a termination fee equal to  2 months rent.
  • We’ll miss you. Thanks for the good times. We require a 2 month written notice and our team will work with you to get everyone’s signature for the notice. Just email any team member and they will walk you through that process. Please note your notice begins on the 1st day of the following month if notice is given past the 15th day of the given calendar month. Example: Sarah’s lease ends December 31, 2019. She turned in her 2-month notice on October 16th. Therefore, her two-month notice period includes November and December.

  • Decide you need more space? That’s fair! You can transfer to any apartment of greater value during your lease term for a $350 transfer fee. Transfers to lesser value are not allowed mid-lease term.
